The love affair between Tuscany and terracotta began in the 14th century and its production has progressively impacted the region’s famous landscape, architecture, urban design and economy. The most famous kind of Tuscan terracotta is produced in Impruneta, an ancient town south of Florence.
The gorgeous Tuscan façade with its breathtaking rolling hills, picture perfect Cypress trees and beautiful terracotta hued abodes was the initial inspiration for this lovely style shoot by Chelsey Somohano and Stephanie Lanni. With her love of Western America, Chelsey later incorporated elements of Western Montana as well as warm tones of yellow – hence, creating a unique tapestry that featured a western Boho vibe.
One of the latest bridal trends for 2020 is Boho Chic – this style is all about flowing gowns that are sophisticated with a relaxed style. To set the stage for a stunning shoot, muted warm hued florals and sparkling Edison bulb lights were used to highlight the rustic Boho western theme. The “queen” of the shoot was the western-style wedding cake with an authentic antler, flanked by scrumptious macarons and western decorated sugar cookies.
Set against an unspoiled cow pasture on The Edison Estate in Dade City, Florida, the shoot was an open canvas that allowed the duo to channel their fun out west and a traveling adventure vibe that included a pristine vintage VW van named “Sunshine.” Creating the romance element was immensely easy as real life newlyweds, Brooke and Hunter simply showcased their effortless mutual adoration and the breathtaking setting on the estate invoked the rapturous scene.
